Hey Everyone!

We definitely shot this look back before Kansas weather dropped into the negatives! And no this was not my boyfriends dress. But we all know that look from the movies, a woman puts on a mans button down and then wear it around the house like it’s their favorite pj’s. So why not incorporate that same look into a dress?

I actually got this dress from Victoria’s Secret online, back when they sold more women’s clothing *sigh*. They seriously had the cutest stuff! I was so excited to get this dress because I felt like it made me look mature, classy and hot. Lol

This was also back when I was single and could barely drink in the bars. Also not very long ago. Anyways, this dress has stayed in my wardrobe over the years and is a good go to for me. I like that I can dress it up or make it very casual. I think the color is the prettiest blue too. It has these little flowers on it, and it’s not an in your face pattern which I love.

I decided to pair it with black OTK boots and this black Chanel bag because black goes with anything right? That’s what my mom always told me. 🙂 I will link some similar looks at the end of the post. Click on the icons to shop!

We had so much fun looking for spots to shoot this outfit. We drove around our neighborhood and settled at this spot because it had the prettiest, redish, orange tree that we were hoping to find for a fall look. Only took us 2 minutes to discover, score! I’m not sure if this little house was a guest house or just a small home but it is so adorable! The gate around the side of the house is gorgeous too.

Very happy with how these turned out, especially since it was kind of dark in that area. I can’t wait till all the greenery comes back! These black boots I ordered on urbanog.com, they have super cute and comfortable shoes! Also very affordable!
