I wanted to do a post about my favorite products and items of 2017. These have been staples in my weekly if not everyday routine. I will go into more details on each one and why I like the items that I picked. Click on the picture to purchase any of the items pictured below. Hope you enjoy!
Starting from the top.
I put the sneakers in because they are my current go to workout shoe. They are amazing for running, and very light weight. They don’t weigh you down at all when doing cardio, abs, whatever it is. These are the perfect workout shoe. I couldn’t find the color I got so I will link it here. This shoe comes in 13 other colors and it’s marked down right now!
The Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder I got when I ran out of another setting powder I was using. The one I was using I’ll link here, it was amazing! I got a sample of the Laura Mercier and LOVE it though! It’s very light weight and you can’t tell that there is powder on your face at all. I just put a little layer on my brush and give my face a quick dusting and voila! Highly recommend.
The perfumes are all amazing, Lola by Marc Jacobs has such a feminine smell. It is strong which I like for a night out with friends or a date because It will last for hours. The Light Blue fragrance by D&G is perfect for casual outings or even work. To me it is very light with floral and citrus scents. Coach I love because it is the perfect balance between a strong perfume and a light one. It has such a clean smell to it. I like to wear this while I’m out and about shopping or meeting a friend for lunch.
My staples in my makeup and skin care routine consist of the liquid eyeliner by Maybelline, the tip is pointed and perfect for winging eyeliner. With the dry air right now my skin is so sensitive and thirsty for moisture. I like to use the hangover primer by Too Faced in the morning and at night after I shower. It has coconut water in it which is so good for the skin. It’s perfect because you can wear it alone for a dewy look as a moisturizer or if you want to put make up on it’s the perfect base.
The EOS lip balm stick is a life saver right now. I must lick my lips a lot more than I realize because my lips have been so chapped its unbelievable. This lip balm is so good, I used it every hour for a day and the next day my chapped lips were completely healed. And when I say chapped I mean CHAPPED it was bad. The EOS lip balm came in clutch! I have the vanilla bean flavor and the fact that it’s organic is a big plus!
My all time favorite mascara is the It cosmetics superhero mascara right now. All I’m going to say about this is you have to try it! All the Nars products are AMAZING so no matter what you buy you will get your moneys worth out of it. The Giorgio Armani foundation is flawless and in my opinion good for dry skin.
I’m not super huge on face masks but I do like the Caudalie detox mask. I switch off my moisturizers with the Caudalie Vinosource moisturizing sorbet. It feels so good on my skin the second I start to rub it into my face. I will definitely be buying more of that. Sometimes I use the vinoperfect radiance serum by Caudalie as a night serum but I prefer to use a thicker moisturizer while my skin is so dry. This would be a better serum for me to use in the summer because it is very light and not as thick as an ultra hydrating moisturizer. The foaming cleanser is very light and perfect for someone with sensitive or dry skin. It actually does a good job removing make up too!
The boots I linked are similar to the Uggs I wear a lot while I’m out and about. Who doesn’t love staying warm in the winter? These boots are my go to when its under 30 degrees out! The exact pair I have I’ll link here. The black boots I really liked and wanted to add something similar to the ones I got a couple of years ago from American eagle. They are actually lower then these heels and are also my go to boot for a casual outing when I want to look decent! Unfortunately they are sold out.
My current everyday bag I couldn’t find the exact one so I included the one above that looked similar and is very cute! The exact one I use is also sold out. Sad 🙁
